What would a change in your electricity spending look like?

Enter a bill amount, billing frequency and percentage scenario to annualise spending and compare a hypothetical change. Optional billed usage must cover the same period. Results keep your stated GST basis and are illustrative arithmetic only: they do not identify achievable savings, a marginal tariff or a suitable replacement technology.

What this calculation can—and cannot—tell you

Annual bill = entered amount × billing periods per year (52 weekly, 12 monthly, 4 quarterly or 1 annual). Scenario difference = annual bill × your chosen percentage ÷ 100. Remaining scenario spend = annual bill − difference. No GST adjustment is applied. Start at 0%; select up to 50%. This is not a savings prediction.

Read the bill boundary before comparing

Include only the stated billing interval. Fixed charges, demand, transport, network, metering and tax can make an all-in blended rate different from the marginal cost of energy. A blended rate must not be used as an avoided-cost assumption.

Bring the next evidence

Bring interval data, equipment and operating hours, actual contract charges and current supplier terms. Check peak demand, refrigeration, pumps and operating schedules before sizing generation.

Frequently asked questions

Will my information be published?

No. Initial checks run privately. Saving a result is separate from requesting follow-up, and public listings require explicit consent and Admin review.

Does a first look guarantee savings, buyers or project approval?

No. Initial outputs organise your information and next questions. Engineering, contracts, approvals and funding require qualified review and separately agreed arrangements.

Can I start without exact figures?

Yes. A qualitative first look can identify the next questions without estimating output, prices or savings. Numerical tools require the stated inputs; leave unavailable evidence unknown.
