Already operate a biogas plant? What could your next commercial opportunity be?

Your best next investment may be an upgrade, a different gas outlet, improved operating performance, recovered CO₂—or none of these yet. It depends on measured production, gas composition, current use, spare capacity, upgrade cost and dependable demand. Start with what's actually happening at your facility.

Three things to check before choosing equipment

Your starting evidence

facility technology, measured annual gas (specified units and reference conditions), CH₄/CO₂ composition, hours and availability, flaring, power/heat use, grid connection, gas cleaning, off-take status, present contracts.

Useful demand and delivery

Describe actual on-site use or customer requirements, timing and practical transport or connection constraints.

Qualified site review

Confirm equipment suitability, regulatory obligations and the full cost boundary before investing.

The opportunity is in the whole operation

Recoverable CO₂ is not automatically food-grade or saleable. Upgraded biomethane is not automatically connected or contracted. Shelby can help distinguish what is measured today from what still needs equipment, qualification, infrastructure or a customer.

Information to bring to your first review

Use recent bills, measured volumes with units and reference periods, site operating schedules, existing contracts and evidence of quality. Leave unknowns explicit. No equipment output or revenue is inferred from business size.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell recovered CO₂?

Only if volume, product grade, processing and buyer economics support it.

Will gas upgrading always pay?

No, feedstock, capex, offtake and connection need validation.

Can I list anonymously?

Only via the owner's approved listing process and moderation.
