Frequently asked questions
Can this support PE, Sport or PDHPE?
Yes. The program is designed to support movement, physical activity and practical wellbeing outcomes. Schools should always map the program to their own curriculum planning, but the structure is designed to sit naturally inside PE/Sport, PDHPE, wellbeing blocks, incursions and classroom reset routines.
Do staff need yoga experience?
No. Corporate sessions are beginner-friendly and can be delivered in office clothing, activewear or hybrid formats depending on the session type.

Online yoga for schools, families and workplaces, how it actually runs
Online sessions run live over video with a Shelby instructor leading and the classroom teacher or workplace host supervising in the room. Pre-recorded packs are available for schools with unreliable connectivity, and both formats use the same sequences and outcome mapping as in-person delivery.
Online wellbeing sessions have a bad reputation, and mostly it is deserved, a video playing to a room nobody is watching is not a program.
The difference between that and a session that works comes down to two things: a live instructor who can see the room and name individual students, and a host in the room who participates rather than marks the roll. Where both are in place, engagement in our online school sessions has been indistinguishable from in-person for Stage 2 and Stage 3 groups. Early Stage 1 is the exception; younger students need the physical presence, so we recommend pre-recorded short sequences the classroom teacher leads instead.
For regional New South Wales schools this is the difference between having a wellbeing program and not having one. There is no travel cost, sessions can be scheduled around bus timetables, and a whole-of-school Friday reset can run to multiple classrooms at once.
Corporate and family formats use the same structure at different lengths, 25 minutes for a workplace desk-reset, 20 minutes for a family session at home.
Frequently asked questions
What technology do we need?
A screen the class can see, audio the room can hear, and a camera pointed at the space so the instructor can see the group. A standard interactive whiteboard setup is enough.
Is live better than pre-recorded?
For Stage 2 upwards, yes, the instructor adjusts pacing to the room. Pre-recorded is better for Early Stage 1 and for schools with unreliable internet, because it never drops out mid-session.
Does the classroom teacher need to do anything?
Supervise, and ideally join in. Classes where the teacher participates settle noticeably faster than classes where the teacher watches from the desk.
How many students can join one session?
One classroom per screen works best. Multiple classrooms can join the same stream for a whole-school reset, though individual feedback isn't possible at that scale.
Do online sessions cost less?
Yes, there is no travel component, so online blocks price below the equivalent in-person block. See the pricing page for current per-session rates.
